DESCRIPTION:\n\nPhish is an American rock band noted for its musical improv
 isation\, extended jams\, exploration of music across genres and devoted f
 an base.\n\nFormed at the University of Vermont in 1983\, the band's four 
 members performed together for over 20 years until an official breakup in 
 August 2004. The band reunited in 2009 for three shows at the Hampton Coli
 seum in Hampton\, Virginia\, and have resumed their former activities with
  a full summer\, a fall tour\, a new album titled Joy\, their eighth festi
 val in Indio\, California\, and four shows in Miami\, Florida\, culminatin
 g on New Year's Eve. In June 2010\, they began another Summer Tour.\n\nThe
 ir music blends elements of a wide variety of genres\, including rock\, ja
 zz\, progressive rock\, psychedelic rock\, hard rock\, funk\, folk\, blueg
 rass\, reggae\, country\, blues\, avant garde\, and classical. Each of the
 ir concerts is original in terms of the songs performed\, the order in whi
 ch they appear and the way in which they are performed.\n\nAlthough the ba
 nd has received little radio play or mainstream exposure\, it has develope
 d a large and dedicated following by word of mouth\, the exchange of live 
 recordings and selling over 8 million albums and DVDs in the United States
