Whenever the subject of movies comes up, somebody will ask what my favorites are, and I'll always start listing comedies. Movies that I can quote line after line from, movies that made me laugh and laugh. And so many of them were directed, written or starring Harold Ramis, who died today.
I'll bet you can do a line or two from "National Lampoon's Vacation!" How about "Caddyshack" or "Stripes" or "Ghostbusters" or "Groundhog Day?" Those are the movies I quote from all the time. We drive a "family truckster" and sometimes have a "cinderella story." If a day is just like the day before, we say it's "Groundhog Day!" The guy was just plain funny. Thanks for all the great movies, Harold Ramis!
