1.)     The Presidential election is tomorrow and perhaps even that is not soon enough.    Among the many polls that have been taken, a new Rasmussen survey shows that 45% of people say they have gotten into a heated argument about the election.    And, one in four Americans say the election has negatively affected their personal relationship with a friend or family member.

2.)     Bad posture can make your shoulders ache, but recent research shows your slough might make you a grouch.     San Francisco State University conducted a project in which students were told to walk down a hall in a slouched position or to skip.     The slouchers reported increased feelings of depression and lower energy.    Their suggested fix for your slough?   Imagine a headlight shining in the middle of your chest - your headlight should always shine forward.   Keep your head centered over your shoulders, extend your head toward the ceiling without lifting your chin.

3.)     The South Carolina Public Service Commission is holding one of 3 public meetings tonight on a request rate hike from SCE&G.    South Carolina Electric and Gas Company is asking to raise electric rates more than 6 percent.    If granted, it would be SCE&G’s 12th rate hike over the last 5 years.    Commissioners will be at the International Longshoremen’s Association Local 1422 on Morrison Drive beginning at 6 to hear your opinion on the proposal.
