1.)     Voting in our nation is always done by a secret ballot, but it’s easier and easier to find out who someone voted for these days thanks to social media.    Yesterday, one in five Americans who voted, announced which candidate they cast a ballot for on either Facebook or Twitter.      25 percent of people who supported President Obama and 20 percent of Governor Romney voters posted or tweeted who they voted for on at least one of those two sites.

2.)     A 32 year old Cleveland woman has been ordered by a judge to wear a sign that reads “Only an idiot drives on the sidewalk to avoid a school bus.”     Shena Hardin was punished after not once, but twice driving on the sidewalk to pass a school bus.    Along with a $250 dollar fine, and her license being suspended for 30 days, Hardin will be required to wear the sign next Tuesday and Wednesday at the intersection where she was caught.

3.)     It started out as a joke, but ended up possibly saving a life.   A man took a pregnancy test his ex-girlfriend had left in his bathroom, and the test turned out positive.     A friend thought that it was funny and posted a photo of the test on Reddit.com.      A user on that site who saw the photo, knew that a positive pregnancy test for a man could be a sign of testicular cancer, and suggested the man go to an oncologist and get checked immediately.    It turns out a hormone in the blood that's produced by placenta developing in a woman, is the same exact hormone produced by developing testicular cancer.   The man was tested and did have cancer, but thanks to early detection, he now has a 99% chance of survival.
