1.)     Star Wars action figures and dominoes make up the Class of 2012 as the new inductees into the National Toy Hall of Fame.    Both were finalists for the honor last year and now join the likes of Barbie, Mr. Potato Head and the Teddy Bear in the Hall.    They were selected ahead of other 2012 finalists that included the Magic 8 ball, sidewalk chalk, Simon, little green army men and Twister.

2.)     For decades, the Butterball Turkey Hotline has been a lifeline for those in need at Thanksgiving.      And, while the hotline is still open at 1-800-Butterball, there’s also an app for that.     Butterball Cookbook Plus is a source for recipes, information on turkey tips, how-to videos, upcoming Butterball promotions, and more.   And, like any good cooking app, this one lets you add favorite recipes to your "recipe box," create a shopping list based on ingredients you find in each recipe, add your own recipes, and even print recipes if you prefer hard copies.      You’ll find it in the Apple app store for just $4.99.

3.)     How much patience do you have when watching a video on-line?   If your answer is none, you’re not alone.       According to a study by the University of Massachusetts, we have ZERO patience when it comes to watching videos online.       Researchers found that people start getting frustrated if a video hasn't started within TWO SECONDS.    After two seconds, every extra second it takes a video to load causes another 5.8% of people to give up and bail on the video.        And, the better your internet connection is, the LESS patience you have.
