2.)     A woman from Seattle, who claims her real name is Beautiful Existence, has announced she will only eat and drink Starbucks for an entire year.     Beautiful Existence does a different personal challenge each year, which you can keep up with on her web site  - 1yearofmylife.wordpress.com.    The challenge is not for charity, nor it is a diet, although she claims to have already lost 3 pounds two weeks in.     She is spending an average of $18.79 per day on food and drink.     According to the USDA, women spend an average of $3,000 dollars a year on groceries.     If Beautiful Existence holds to her current average, she’ll spend just under $7,000 at Starbucks in 2013.


3.)     The Manhattan Soccer club, which runs several soccer leagues in New York City, has announced that they’ll be discouraging kids from giving each other high fives.    The reason – they’re trying to prevent the spread of flu between players.     Experts say the disease is spread through touch, so the league hopes the ban will keep players healthier this flu season.
