1.) You many not realize it, but the Lowcountry is actually Steeler Country. With the Super Bowl this Sunday, Facebook analyzed the 35 million users in the United States who have liked an NFL team to figure out the most popular team in every county of the U.S. In Charleston, Dorchester and Berkeley counties, and most of the Palmetto State, the Pittsburgh Steelers were the team with the most likes across South Carolina.
2.) One of the best things about Super Bowl Sunday is the food, and what goes better with football than pizza. Thanks to a charity called Pizza 4 Patriots, our troops serving in Afghanistan and Kuwait will be enjoying Chicago deep-dish pizza on Sunday. A company called Great Kitchens is making 21,000 ready to bake pizzas which are being shipped overseas by DHL. The pizzas left Chicago yesterday morning to be ready for game time. In the four years they’ve been doing this, Pizzas 4 Patriots has now sent more than 122,000 pizzas to our men and women serving overseas.

3.) A new version of Microsoft Office is now available. One of the differences, you can rent it instead of buying it. You can buy a copy of Office 2013 for $140 dollars, but it can only be used on one computer. Get an Office 365 subscription and you can use the entire suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, on as many as five devices, including tablets and phones, or you can stream versions of the applications to any computer with an Internet connection. And it comes with free, automatic upgrades to future versions. Your files sync as you work, across all devices, even if you're editing them on Office.com, and you can keep them even after you stop renting. The subscription price is 10 dollars per month or 110 dollars for a full year.
