1.) If you’re feeling tired this morning, its really not surprising. According to a new survey, Sunday is the hardest night to get to sleep. Two out of five people said that it took longer to fall asleep on Sunday than any other night of the week. The average person takes a half hour longer to fall asleep on Sunday than any other night. Stress was the main reason, since people are worrying about all the work waiting for them on Monday. This same survey determined that Tuesdays and Thursdays are the easiest nights to fall asleep.
2.) Three weeks from today, they’re back! It’s “The Sweetest Comeback In the History of Ever,” the return of Twinkies. New owners have taken over Hostess and the company is running with a leaner structure. There’ll be some changes to their CupCakes, with the company now using dark cocoa instead of milk chocolate to give them a richer, darker appearance. Hostess expects to have their sweets, including Twinkies back on shelves July 15th.
3.) What was the most pirated TV show from this past Spring? There were more than 5.2 million downloads of “Game of Thrones,” up more than 25% over last year. Compare that to the 5,500,000 who actually watch the show on HBO. Plus, TorrentFreak, which came up with the list of the 10 most pirated TV shows, notes it can’t calculate online streaming and file storage site downloads, so the overall piracy number is probably much higher. “The Big Bang Theory” ranked 2nd with “How I Meet Your Mother” 3rd.
