2.) Would you be interested in making an extra $120 dollar a day? If you’re a woman 18 years of age or older and have at least 20 friends on a social network, you’re eligible to earn the cash. Of course, you must also agree to wear a sticker on your thigh. A PR firm in Tokyo has signed up 3,000 Japanese women in the advertising campaign. The women are encouraged to wear miniskirts and long socks so that onlookers will focus on the stickers, and must take pictures of themselves wearing the sticker in two different locations, and upload those photos to the internet. So far the program has featured the band Green Day and the Mark Wahlberg movie “Ted.”
3.) How fast can you get your shopping cart around the aisles of your neighborhood Piggly Wiggly? Probably not as fast as Matt McKeown who this week set the Guinness world record for riding a jet-propelled shopping cart. His cart has a modified jet engine and go-kart wheels and was clocked at 44 miles per hour. In setting the record, the U.K. man broke his old record, which was 42 miles per hour.
