1.) At the most secure and secretive prison camp at Guantanamo Bay, the most popular book in the prison library is not the Quran. According to Representative Jim Moran, a Democrat from Virginia, the book being read the most among the “high-value detainees” is the “Fifty Shades of Grey” trilogy. According to the Huffington Post, the series was written in English, but has been translated for the inmates. But, since erotic content is supposed to be censored at Guantanamo, it’s not known how steamy these versions of the series are.
2.) If you're an adult who likes to play with LEGOs, there’s good news for you. You can now unashamedly continue to relive your childhood with the company's newest creation, the adult targeted LEGO Architecture Studio. For just under $150, the set provides 1,200 all-white LEGOs with 73 different pieces along with a book filled with architecture designs and building tips. The new adult LEGOs are labeled for ages 16 and up and are aimed at “future architects and architecture fans.”
3.) The South Carolina Aquarium will be releasing three juvenile sea turtles, representing three different species today. Later this morning, a Kemp's ridley, loggerhead, and green sea turtle will be released from the Isle of Palms County Park. The release is being held in partnership with the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR) and the Charleston County Parks and Recreation Commission (CCPRC). If you want to see the 10AM release, plan on arriving early, and remember you’ll need to pay for parking at the county park.
