1.) If you’re willing to stay in bed for 2 months, you can earn $15,000. NASA is looking for volunteers willing to lie in bed for 70 days for a study on what happens to people's muscles, bones, and circulation when they're horizontal for an extended period of time, like during space travel. You’ll live at the Johnson Space Center in Houston and can do anything you want in bed – even showering and going the bathroom. You’re only allowed to stand up if they need to run a test. The job pays about $5,000 per month, which also covers two weeks of prep time.
2.) Super Bowl 48 will be the first Super Bowl played outside in a cold weather city when the game kicks-off at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey this February. It will also cost you twice as much to attend the game as last time as the NFL has doubled the ticket prices. The league says they did this to curb sales in the “secondary” markets, i.e. the ticket brokers and scalpers, after NFL research showed during the 2013 Super Bowl, $600 tickets sold for $2,000 while seats near midfield went for up to $6,100 in the secondary market.
3.) A 500 pound artistic pendulum that etches designs in the sand below as it swings back and forth had been removed from the campus of Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan. Who is to blame for campus landmark which has been up for years being taken away? Miley Cyrus. The pendulum was removed after several naked vine videos appeared with girls imitating Miley in her “Wrecking Ball” video.
